Ahmet Sesigürgil was born in Ankara in 1978.
He started making short films in 1998.He studied business administration at Bilkent University.
He played ice hockey at different levels, including for the Turkish National Team. He learned about cinematography and film at Central St. Martins in London, the New York Film Academy in New York, and the Maine Photographic Workshops in Maine. He spent a significant part of his life traveling between America, Turkey, Europe, and Africa, working as a cinematographer in movies, online content, independent films, commercials, documentaries, and experimental films. Currently, he is happily married with children and striving to continue this lifestyle.
